What you require to do this:
- Headset (USB)
- EyeToy Camera
- A Friend to Call!
Here’s what you do:
- Connect your EyeToy and your headset to your PS3
- Choose a friend from the friends menu and press the triangle button
- Select ‘Start New Chat’ and input a message
- If your friend is online with their PS3 and they accept your message they will be able to join your videochat
If your friend is using both the camera and the headset, you should be able to see them as well. You can add more people to this chat by pressing triangle but the maximum amount of people you can add is 6.
All this for free? Oh yes… there are no charges for video chat. Bargain if you ask me!! I know people who use this method in their workplace!!
